Buy more, save more offer

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

As a part of the Growth Hack team, our key goal was to solve design issues/debt of the design team & take up key initiatives to improve existing products or introduce new products at testing scale.

This project was an initiative to improve the comprehension of basket offers & its benefits/savings for the customer. In this case, the focus was on the Buy More, Save More offer and improving the completion rate of offers being added at cart on Flipkart. I implemented my craft it prototyping & animation design in this project to visually overhaul the process of adding items in the basket/cart, to highlight the savings user can make with the basket offers.

IMPACT

  • Before implementation of this revamp, the adoption rate of basket offers for BGMH(Beauty, General Merchandise, and Home) products was at 35%. During the A/B testing of this experiment, we observed that ~56% of the targeted users were buying products with Buy more, Save more offer unlocked.

  • Overall, due to apt animation and a comprehensive visual design, the visibility of basket offers improved. Leading to better functionality of the offers & coupons at cart stage on Flipkart.

  • The experiment showed success and was taken up as a total product revamp by the respective product owners. I drove the revamp and provided a clean-cut design for development.
