PROJECT DESCRIPTION

We observed that customers tend to buy BGMH(Beauty, General Merchandise, and Home) products in a large quantity to avail basket offers & offers like Buy more, Save more to avail great discounts on Flipkart

The hypothesis was that allowing the user to vary the quantity of the number of BGMH products bought and also highlighting the savings will incentivize user to buy more products and also helps educating the user about the offers & coupons on Flipkart and their benefits

IMPACT

  • Post-implementation, there was a 30% increase in the redemption of coupons and offers specific to the BGMH category. This indicates that users are better informed and more motivated to take advantage of the available discounts.

  • Surveys indicated a 25% improvement in customer satisfaction scores related to the shopping experience in the BGMH categories, particularly praising the transparency and effectiveness of the pricing and offers.

  • The GMV for BGMH products increased by 12% as a direct result of the project. This growth reflects the success of the initiative in encouraging more substantial purchases through strategic discounting
