SuperCoin + Flipkart VIP integration

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

With the fresh-launch of the Flipkart's new paid membership product, we had a hypothesis that pitching the currency of the app- SuperCoin along with any communication of Flipkart VIP would overall boost the organisations paid & loyalty programs to our customer. This experiment reworked the framework of the Flipkart VIP product and integrated a touchpoint for SuperCoins all-across the app.

We conducted an A/B experiment to verify our hypothesis & proposed this solution to the design counterpart for full implementation.

IMPACT

  • By featuring SuperCoins across the app, user engagement with the currency increased by 35%. Metrics such as daily interactions with SuperCoin-related features demonstrated a higher frequency of use, indicating a successful integration.

  • Post-integration, the retention rate of Flipkart VIP members rose by 10%. This improvement suggests that the added value of SuperCoins within the program helps maintain customer interest and loyalty over time.

  • There was a 25% increase in the use of SuperCoins for transactions within the app, demonstrating that more users are leveraging their earned coins for discounts and special offers, enhancing the perceived benefits of both SuperCoins and the VIP membership.
